Friday Favorites - Fall Decorations!

Momfessionals
Happy Friday Everyone!
Linking up with Erika & Andrea today!
So my Friday Favorites is all about my fall décor! I absolutely love all things fall. And in the house we are in now, I have just about as much as I can have out and displayed. I still have some stuff stored away that just doesn’t have anywhere to go.

This is my new soap dispenser that I ordered from Kirklands
It seems to be out of stock now, but its super cute.
And just a little basket with fall hand towels in it in our bathroom

This is my entry table. I love the way this came out this year!
That picture is also from Kirklands. It was like $20 shipped!
It came framed and everything - so stinkin cute!
The garland and apples are from Hobby Lobby and those big pumpkins are all from Homegoods that I've scooped up throughout the years.
The mini pumpkins are real

I seriously LOVE this picture. I want to get another one for Christmas -
I have to keep stalking their website.

And what house is complete without Bath & Body Works candles?
This one was left over from last year
The holder is new this year! It's just such a cute addition.
I got one of the last ones in the store but similar ones are
here

This is also a new one for this year. I got this from Tuesday Morning actually
I needed a white pumpkin and this one was just darling!

My Mom bought me this glass pumpkin candy jar a few years ago.
She has one too and so does my sister in law
Mom fills hers with candy corn but since I'm not the biggest fan of tons of candy corn,
I decided to put fall M&M's (plain & peanut)
This was a fabulous choice

This cute little guy is from Michaels. I saw it when I was picking up Wedding stuff one of the 934 times I went there for stuff. I stuck a little mini jar in there from Bath & Body Works
This fella sits on my kitchen counter

I picked up this sign at Homegoods 2 years ago.
It's perfect. This is a spot I change for each holiday and season.
I have an awesome Christmas picture I put here so check back for that

This is my coffee table.
Just a simple placemat & a votive cover
When the candle is lit, it looks so cute

Just a few little cute touches on my TV stand.
I love this funky Halloween sign.
Can't remember where its from, but most likely Homegoods :)

I have two big mums by our front door.
I stuffed some hay in there for an extra pop of fall
I realize now how crappy these pictures look, but it was dark and they are iphone pics.
#amateurblogger

I stuffed a fall swag thing into my front door vase piece.
I had this hanging in the house by itself, but like it better out here

I got this adorable wreath/pumpkin door piece from Cracker Barrel YEARS ago while on a road trip, somewhere in like, Illinois or Missouri
I absolutely fell in love with it.
That is after I had a huge plate of chicken and biscuits.

So that's my fall décor!
I truly love decorating the house for all the different seasons and holidays.
And as much as I'm loving fall, I'm excited for Christmas decorations...
Sorry not sorry - totally not rushing
But - first Christmas married ~ I'm excited !

Have a funtastic weekend !

Come on in...Home Organization

Come on in !
Home Organization...
Linking Up with Andrea & Erika

This post is actually perfect timing... I just "officially" moved in with Ted because I didn't want to "officially" live there until we were married. I moved all of my home-y decorations into his house a while back. I decorated his house for all seasons and holidays already since about 6 months of dating.

From our engagement shoot <3

My bridal shower was in July - and since we will be selling the house and moving closer to my mom in the near future, we decided not to open the majority of our new things and to save them for the new house. Well those items successfully took up half of two rooms. So again, since we will be selling - I wanted to de-clutter the rooms (obviously)

So yesterday, I took all that stuff out to bring to my moms to store in her basement....
This is my living room before mid truck load...

Fun times ~ Let me tell you. Schlepping that stuff out of the room, into the truck, out of the truck, into my moms garage (it started to rain and I needed to quickly unload)
But this will free up some space and thus I will appear to be WAY more organized.

Speaking of shower gifts and kitchen items and what not, our kitchen isn't the most accommodating for large items.

So last night after dropping stuff off to mom, her and I took a ride to Lowes so I could get this lovely piece of furniture to stick in the corner of my den for excess kitchen storage.

Don't mind the mess surrounding the self. I told you I'm re-organizing, so we're keeping it real here folks.
(And by the way, that's not a stain on the carpet, its a shadow from a hanging cat toy)

Hopefully this will contain/control the chaos while we prep the house to sell.

Moving on.......

I absolutely adore my Barrington Bag My husband bought it for me as a wedding present.
I for sure was hinting at it and sending him pictures with texts saying things like
"how cute would this bag be with my new initials on it"
or
"wouldn't this be the cutest carry on bag for our honeymoon"

He got it for me. Totally surprised me. This is why I adore him.

It's just such a fabulous bag. There are a few pockets and a zipper section inside, but it's mainly a big tote bag which is so right up my alley.
borrowed from google - the inside of mine is a bit crazy right now

Speaking of crazy... If I didn't have this Erin Condren Life Planner - found here
I'd be LOST!

I used this A LOT throughout the wedding planning process. This was one of many check-lists, but for sure my most "on going" one.

I just love how you have a month to month overview.....

As well as a week to week overview! It's so awesome!!

Such a perfect planner!

So that's it for me - for now. I wish I had more to offer in terms of actual "home" organization, but those things keep me organized thus keeping my home functioning!
Once we move, I'd love to show the house and how I love to decorate and organize.
Right now - we're a bit under construction :)

Happy Tuesday!

.....and remember... when things get crazy....

Friday Favorites ~ MY WEDDING!!!!!

Momfessionals

My Friday Favorite is all about my WEDDING
Ok Maybe it doesn't quite fit into this category, but I don't particularly mind because I haven't blogged in a few weeks,
and I wanted to link up and share my Wedding Day with ya'll !
It was the most amazing day of my life!
It is my FAVORITE day so far!

The night before I kissed my groom to be goodnight & told him
I'd see him at 2:00pm the next day

I love this one!

My big brother walking me down the aisle

It was hard in a way to NOT have my dad there, but he was with me in so many ways. I had his picture in a charm hanging from my bouquet. My mom sewed a heart made out of a pair of his jeans in the inside of my dress near my heart. And I just felt his presence there looking down over me and my brother as we walked down the aisle.

My mom sewing the heart in my dress <3
What an amazing day it was from start to finish.
My BFF from Texas & one of my two Matrons of Honor slept over my moms house with my the night before the big day. (She's on the left below) We went to get our hair done starting at 8:30am! The rest of the morning was pretty laid back. My other BFF/Cousin/Matron of Honor came over shortly after that and we hung out and chatted until everyone else arrived.

Before I knew it I was getting into my dress, taking pictures & getting into the limo!
Right before getting in the limo
Inside the Hummer Limo

When we arrived at the church I was SO nervous. I was excited & anxious. I was happy!
It was such a rush! Knowing all my friends and family were inside waiting to see me come down the aisle. It was such an awesome feeling.
After all my girls walked down, it was time for my brother and I to go.
The organ started, the double doors opened and there it was.
That short(which seemed long) walk to my future.
The man I love.
My Husband!
Taking a deep breath and trying not to tear up!

The ceremony was absolutely perfect.
Everything I always dreamt of.
In the days/months leading up to the big day, I envisioned what it would be like and it was exactly that. It's almost sad to think it's all over.
BUT ~ it's the beginning of a special journey with my new husband!

Husband & Wife !
After the ceremony we took LOTS of pictures.
Pictures on the beach, at church, at the venue and so many candid shots.
Dad's Car :-)

My Girls

Once we got to our reception venue, we took some more pictures, and greeted some guests who were there early. Then we joined out guests for cocktail hour.

Once cocktail hour was over, we all got ready to be announced.
Right after that, my husband & I had our first dance...

I shared a special dance with my Godfather ~ we two stepped to George Strait!

I also danced to "Somebody's Hero" with my amazing Mama <3

The day flew by - Everyone told me it would.
Boy were they right!
I enjoyed every single minute of it, but wish I could slowly relive it or watch from the sidelines and take it all in as it was happening.
Every part of our Wedding Day was perfect.

We left for our Honeymoon on Monday so we had Sunday to re-group.
Thank goodness we did this!
We double checked our suitcases, added to them, removed stuff.
We straightened up the house for our house/pet sitter (his sis)
We spent time with out of town guests who came in for the Wedding.
We spent time smiling at each other in disbelief that we were finally married!!

Before we knew it, the clock stuck 4:30am Monday morning & we were up and ready to go!
My father in law came to get us and bring us to the airport.
We were both so excited and still on our high from the Wedding Day....

...but my gosh, we were pooped!
We met another newlywed couple in the airport (photo credits)
They got married the same day as us & were going to Aruba as well!

Our flight was good. We both fell asleep (shocking!)

Our Welcome to Aruba!

My In-Laws have a friend that lives in Aruba and works at a big fancy new hotel – so he said he would love to pick us up and bring us to our resort. It was so nice to have that personal little tour to our resort by a friend. We stopped for Coco Shakes on the side of the road (something I wish we had here but so do not)

The resort was amazing. The views from everywhere in it were breath-taking. We were in such awe. We were so happy and excited.

I loved the fact that there were iguana's everywhere! AND - the hotel restaurants gave us lettuce to feed them, so of course I did this just about every day...

This one with the missing foot was my favorite

We loved the pool! It was so big and so much fun. We met a lot of fun couples too!!

The Pool Bar

Everywhere you looked it was just purely beautiful. The pool, the beaches, just everything.

Sunset view from our balcony

We had a blast. We had dinner on the beach one night which was so amazing.

Dinner on the beach <3

We took walks, went snorkeling, gambled in the casinos, went on a catamaran, did stand up paddle boards, explored the towns and just had an absolute blast.

We swam every single day - the water was so warm!

View of our resort from the pier

Most importantly we got to spend an amazing vacation as husband and wife and enjoy every second together. I am so lucky to have this man as my husband and I am so excited for our future.

My Husband
What an amazing honeymoon! I can't wait to go back there!
